OS Operation – Once the power button has been pressed, please allow the device to fully boot without any interruptions, up until the application has loaded and ready to use.
Shut down process – In the event the OS freezes and the user is unable to access the normal procedure of shutting down the device, the user can press and hold the power button until it completely shut down, this method should not be use as a standard process and OS and application may have errors.
Cassette/loading frame – Improper fitment of the lens can cause inaccurate reading, in addition to this loading the cassette on the rail arms is vital and taking care while doing so. It is important to note that frames must be flat and no external objects to be added as shown in the images below (circle in red).
Dots on lenses – Any dots on the lens can cause interference particularly with prism measurements. Please ensure all lenses are clean of all pen markings and dust, to ensure accuracy of measurement. Please see image below as an example of lens markings present.
Temple obscuring image– As you can see from the image below the user has not placed the glasses in the cassette/loading frame as the side of the frame is covering the view of the entire lens. Our software applies a mask; however, this is interrupted by the side, resulting in an incorrect measurement.
